It's been a challenging time for Dean supporters. While Howard Dean might have exhibited excessive exuberance at the Iowa concession rally, this "I Have a Scream" incident has been completely overblown by the media. In this case, I do believe this is nothing less than an attempt at a complete character assassination by the powers-that-be.

Up until March 2003, I had never took a stand for any political candidate to the point where I actually felt like volunteering my time to get that candidate elected. Politicians, are by their very nature, manipulators of the truth to get what they desire. They promise things, they practice the art of skillful deception, and their typical goal is more personal power. As a group, they are not to be trusted. I’ve always been a devout believer of the old Bob Dylan saying “Don’t follow leaders, watch the parking meters.” That’s always made perfect sense to me, and I still see little reason to doubt that it’s still some of the best advice ever handed down by any philosopher-writer of any era I’ve ever studied.

When Howard Dean stated his opinion that America is NOT safer with the capture of Saddam Hussein, he got a lot of flak from other politicians. So far, I've heard no comments on these very politicians on the news of the latest Homeland Security terror alert.

Bush Economics Explained and the Saddam Situation
One of the biggest criticisms I've heard about Howard Dean is the idea he's going to raise taxes, and create a bigger government, with more entitlements for the welfare state.
To those people, I've got this mesage: Under the George W. Bush administration, we've got the largest government in the history of America, and his handouts to his corporate buddies make standard welfare entitlements look like pennies in comparison. You can deny all you want, and you can recycle some partisan rhetoric B.S., but the facts speak for themselves.
This month, Howard Dean and his staff created an excellent brochure that borrows from the principle themes that Thomas Paine used over 200 years ago during the revolutuionary war. The brochure is called "Common Sense for a New Century", and it features a lot of solid information. Here's one paragraph that I found especially intriguing:
